This handmade, one of a kind ring features a stunningAustralia fire opal set in a vermeil bezel and sterling band with 24K gold Korean keum-boo technique. Thin gold foil is placed on the object and a polished steel burnisher tacks it down and then presses it over the surface fixing it permanently in place. It is simply stunning.
